I am a results-driven multimedia content director with 15 years experience across high profile global publications in the UK and the Middle East. My specialty and passion is building solid communities around targeted content that enriches lives and businesses.
For several years, I ran one of the Middle East's largest business news websites, www.gulfbusiness.com – taking the site from a monthly audience of less than 1,000 to over a million page views.
More recently, I launched 'Salt' – a UK magazine and website aimed at changemakers and promoting compassionate business. Dame Vivienne Westwood helped launch our national solar energy campaign.
Today I pen stories for Secure Computing, Arabian Business, Wired and Thomson Reuters (Refinitive).
Fully versed in brand positioning through thought leadership, video, social media, podcasts, blogs, reports and features, I direct content for maximum impact.
I've created end-to-end content marketing portals for blue-chip global clients, such as Etihad Airways and Dubai International Financial Centre, as well as supported brands like the UK Department of Investment and Trade, Amazon Web Services, Twitter, Price Waterhouse Coopers and IDG Media.
I've interviewed people from every corner of the globe. From Bill Gates to Tony Blair, I'm experienced in profiling business people, asking the right questions and finding out what makes them tick. I like to get to the nub of what makes someone who they are.
As well as writing about people, I lead and shape teams. I like to inspire and motivate writers, web folk and designers towards a collective content goal.
